Lookonchain said it tracked a trader on Aster who opened 20x leveraged short positions across five major crypto assets: Bitcoin, Ether, Solana, XRP and Dogecoin. At the time of the update, every position was in profit.
The combined size of the trader’s positions stood at $26.5 million, with total unrealized gains of $586,000. The largest position by value was in ETH, where the trader was short 3,629 ETH worth $9.33 million and sitting on a $163,000 paper profit. That was followed by a SOL short of 73,728 tokens valued at $8.52 million, with unrealized gains of $141,000.
The trader also held a DOGE short covering 48.37 million tokens worth $4.24 million, which had the biggest unrealized gain among the five positions at $224,000. The XRP short totaled 1.68 million tokens worth $2.37 million, with a $53,000 profit. The BTC short was the smallest by reported profit, covering 24 BTC worth $1.99 million and showing a gain of $5,600.
