TRON super representatives have launched voting on Mainnet Committee Proposal No. 107, with the ballot scheduled to close at 14:00 Singapore time on Aug. 28. The proposal would enable a set of features in GreatVoyage-v4.8.2 aimed at improving the TRON Virtual Machine’s compatibility with Ethereum’s Prague and Osaka upgrades. The planned changes include support for historical block hash queries, the addition of the CLZ instruction, a secp256r1 precompiled contract for Passkey verification, and lower energy consumption for MODEXP. If approved, the proposal would move TVM closer to Ethereum’s latest upgrade set and improve support for smart contract development and cross-ecosystem adaptation. The vote is being conducted through TRON’s super representative governance process.
