Tron treasury reaches a new milestone
Tron’s crypto treasury has climbed to more than 687 million TRX, with the holdings valued at approximately $206.1 million based on the figures cited in the report. The increase follows a recent purchase of 167,999 TRX at $0.2976 per coin, a transaction worth nearly $50,000.
Even so, the treasury’s direct market influence appears limited for now. According to the source material, the reserve represents only 0.72% of TRX’s circulating supply. That suggests the holding is notable in size, but not yet large enough to materially reshape near-term supply dynamics on its own.
TRX breaks above long-term descending resistance
Alongside the treasury growth, TRX has also shown technical strength in the market. The token reportedly moved above a long-standing descending resistance line and posted a mid-week gain of around 3%. Since December 2024, TRX had been trading within a wedge structure, but recent bullish momentum helped lift the price from about $0.26 in early February to roughly $0.30.
The breakout may be read as a constructive signal for short-term sentiment, although its durability will likely depend on broader crypto market conditions, trading participation, and on-chain activity in the sessions ahead.
Stablecoin supply stays strong while user activity declines
On-chain fundamentals present a mixed picture. Tron’s stablecoin supply remains sizable at $86.7 billion, underscoring the network’s continued relevance in stablecoin transfers and settlement activity. At the same time, active user numbers have fallen from 21.9 million in November to 14.1 million.
That divergence suggests Tron still retains significant capital throughput, even as user participation softens under broader market conditions. Taken together, the treasury expansion, price breakout, and large stablecoin base point to underlying strength, while the decline in active users remains an important metric to watch going forward.
