Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT) has again moved a significant amount of bitcoin to Crypto.com, depositing 2,650 BTC worth approximately $205 million on Friday, according to on-chain data. This is the latest large-scale BTC transfer since the company launched its bitcoin treasury strategy in May 2025. The deposit brings DJT's total holdings to 6,889 BTC, valued at roughly $533 million at current prices, placing it among the top corporate holders of bitcoin in the U.S. public market.

The move deepens the partnership between Trump Media and Crypto.com. Unlike most public companies that use Coinbase Prime or BitGo for custody, DJT chose to send hundreds of millions of dollars worth of bitcoin directly to the crypto exchange. The relationship dates back to December 2025, when Trump Media partnered with Crypto.com to airdrop digital tokens to DJT shareholders. Now, depositing the majority of its BTC reserves on the same platform signals that Crypto.com is becoming a core partner for the company in the crypto space.

From $2.3B Accumulation to Exchange Transfers

Trump Media first entered the bitcoin scene in late May 2025, spending approximately $2.32 billion to buy BTC in bulk, instantly becoming the fourth-largest corporate holder among U.S. listed firms. The news sent DJT shares surging over 10% at the time. However, the company's holdings have since seen adjustments. Instead of holding the coins in self-custody or with traditional custodians, DJT has gradually moved its bitcoin to Crypto.com. Analysts suggest this shift may be driven by a need for more professional asset management and liquidity arrangements. By transferring BTC to an exchange, DJT gains greater flexibility and potential trading capabilities.

Corporate BTC Arms Race Heats Up

Trump Media's bitcoin accumulation comes amid a broader surge in corporate adoption. SpaceX recently disclosed in its IPO filing that it holds 18,700 BTC, while MicroStrategy and other veteran holders continue to buy. Bitcoin is currently trading around $77,000, fluctuating under the influence of Federal Reserve policy. Yet buying from public companies is providing a steady source of demand, supporting the price from the corporate balance sheet side.
