Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) released its latest revenue report on Sept. 10, showing August 2026 consolidated revenue of NT$514.806 billion, a new monthly record and the first time the company has cleared the NT$500 billion mark in a single month.

August revenue hit a fresh monthly high
TSMC said August 2026 consolidated revenue came in at about NT$514.806 billion. That was up 10.1% from July 2026, extending the company’s monthly growth and setting a new all-time high for a single month.
The latest figure also marked the first time TSMC’s monthly revenue has exceeded NT$500 billion.
Revenue rose 53.3% from a year earlier
Compared with the same month last year, TSMC’s August 2026 consolidated revenue increased 53.3%. ABMedia said the jump aligned with continued expansion in demand for high-performance computing, or HPC, and artificial intelligence-related chips, as major global technology companies keep investing in advanced process technologies and related infrastructure.
The report also said demand across the global semiconductor market, especially in AI-linked segments, remained strong, supporting revenue growth through TSMC’s advanced-node and core wafer foundry businesses.
Eight-month revenue reached NT$3.38687 trillion
For the January-to-August period, TSMC posted total consolidated revenue of about NT$3.38687 trillion, up 39.3% from the same period a year earlier. The company’s cumulative revenue for the first eight months also continued to set a new high for the comparable period.
ABMedia said the financial data offers an important reference for evaluating conditions in the semiconductor sector and corporate profitability. The report also noted that investors still need to take macroeconomic variables, exchange-rate swings and actual end-market consumer demand into account.
