Two large traders began executing ETH perpetual TWAP buy orders early on Aug. 12, according to monitoring data from TradingBeats, formerly Hyperinsight. The two orders together were set to buy 25,000 ETH, valued at about $47.158 million. By publication time, roughly 10,100 ETH worth $19.025 million had already been filled, putting the combined execution rate at 40.4%, while 14,900 ETH worth about $28.117 million remained in progress. The tracked addresses were identified as 0x66f and 0x1ee7. TradingBeats said 0x66f planned to buy 18,000 ETH and had completed 43.6% of that order, while 0x1ee7 planned to buy 7,000 ETH and had completed 32%. The monitoring data also showed both whales had removed prior short exposure before turning to ETH longs. Address 0x1ee7 closed a 5,000 ETH short position earlier in the morning and switched from short to long. Address 0x66f had already closed an SKHX short position worth about $19.69 million and was holding long positions in BTC and ETH.

Address 0x1ee7 closed a 5,000 ETH short position early in the morning and flipped from short to long. Address 0x66f had already closed an SKHX short worth about $19.69 million and was then holding long positions in BTC and ETH.
