UNCX Lockers said it has put containment measures in place after a security incident hit its Vesting V2 contract on multiple chains. The decentralized service provider said the changes include a fixed fee of more than 1,000 ETH, the removal of interactions that could bypass fees, and raising the token fee to the contract’s maximum 5% in an effort to stop further exploitation. The team said all LP locker contracts remain unaffected and that the issue is limited to Vesting V2. According to the update, the attack currently involves 10 tokens across four chains: pepecoin, EDGEN, ZC, X, LO0P and PAAL on Ethereum; IMO on Base; BTCLE on BNB Chain; and CASHCAT and RKST on Robinhood Chain. UNCX said it is in contact with most affected teams and plans to share additional guidance later this week, along with a full incident report and a recovery plan. It also advised users to avoid trading the affected pools until the related token teams publish guidance. The attacker has not returned any funds so far, and the team said it is coordinating with law enforcement and security firms on the investigation. Foresight News had earlier reported, citing Blockaid monitoring, that losses were about $86,000.
