Uniswap founder Hayden Adams said on X that the previous owner of the Uniswap.com domain asked the team for a seven-figure payment, which Uniswap declined to make. Adams added that Sam Bankman-Fried, or SBF, later bought the domain for a seven-figure sum and redirected it to a fork project. He said the domain was then used maliciously.
