HyperliquidNews reports that Unit HIP-4 is scheduled to go live as early as 11:45 UTC on September 5. An address that previously deployed Tradexyz HIP-3 first withdrew 500,000 HYPE from the Infinitefield validator and staked that amount to the Hyperliquid Strategies × Unit validator. The same address then unstaked another 500,000 HYPE. Those funds will only be usable in a spot account after a waiting period of 5 days and 20 hours. If the deployer has already completed the HIP-3 deployment, an extra 500,000 HYPE stake is required before HIP-4 can be activated. The details were shared by HyperliquidNews, which monitors related on-chain activity. The staking moves and the proposed launch timeline were both part of the update. The content of HIP-4 and the identity of the deployer were not disclosed in the report.
