The U.S. International Trade Commission has voted to open a Section 337 investigation into certain dynamic random access memory devices and related downstream products and components (II), according to an Odaily report citing the China Trade Remedies Information website. The case has been assigned investigation number 337-TA-1511. The ITC said it will set a target date for completing the investigation within 45 days after institution. The report also noted the standard procedural effect for Section 337 cases: unless disapproved by the U.S. Trade Representative for policy reasons, any remedial order issued by the ITC takes effect on the day it is issued and becomes final on the 60th day after issuance.
