U.S. optical communication and semiconductor names continued to rise in after-hours trading on Sept. 22, according to market data from BIT (bit.com). Intel (INTC.US), which had already closed up more than 12% earlier in the morning session, added another more than 2% in after-hours trading. Other names in the same pocket of the market also moved higher, with SK Hynix (SKHY.US), Corning (GLW.US), and Arm Holdings (ARM.US) each gaining about 2%. The move points to continued strength in a group of U.S.-listed technology stocks during the night session.
