US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds brought in about $301 million in net inflows last week, ending a two-week stretch of withdrawals even as selling picked up late in the week. Data cited from Farside Investors showed the products had lost roughly $228 million the week before and $680 million in the prior week, while October net flows remained negative at about $314 million. Most of last week’s gains came early. Spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $1.08 billion from Monday through Wednesday as Bitcoin climbed to a weekly high of $84,777 on Wednesday, according to CoinGecko. That momentum reversed on Thursday and Friday, when investors withdrew about $774 million as BTC fell back toward $80,000. Research published Thursday by market maker DWF Labs said ETF investors have generally sold during Bitcoin drawdowns. Since US spot Bitcoin ETFs launched in January 2024, the firm found net outflows in seven of eight Bitcoin sell-offs of at least 15%. At publication, Bitcoin traded at $80,025, down about 3.3% over seven days, while the Crypto Fear & Greed Index slipped to 50 from 59 a week earlier. US spot Ether ETFs also logged a fourth straight week of net outflows, losing about $221 million.
