U.S. stocks finished the session with strength in the storage and optical communications segments, according to data cited by Odaily from MSX.COM. In storage, SK hynix rose more than 4%, Micron Technology gained more than 3%, and SanDisk added more than 2%. Optical communications names also advanced, with Applied Optoelectronics up more than 5% and Lumentum climbing more than 6%.
