U.S. storage stocks deepen premarket losses, with major names down more than 6%

U.S. storage-related stocks extended their premarket decline and fell to fresh intraday lows, according to data from MSX.COM. Micron Technology dropped 6.00%, SK hynix fell 7.51%, SanDisk lost 6.25%, Western Digital slipped 6.08%, and Seagate Technology declined 6.50%. Weakness also spread across other AI hardware names. Nvidia was down 2.56%, TSMC lost 3.52%, Broadcom fell 3.90%, Intel dropped 6.56%, and ASML declined 5.63%. Larger losses were seen in Lam Research, down 8.20%, Arm Holdings, down 7.68%, Lumentum, down 7.35%, and Coherent, down 6.83%. Qualcomm fell 4.96%. The Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3x Shares ETF was down 16.15%. The move came in premarket trading, with the storage segment as a whole reaching a new low for the day.
