ETF Holdings and Institutional Leadership
There are now seven spot XRP exchange-traded funds in the U.S., and together they hold 1.11 billion XRP. That works out to roughly 1.1% of the total supply of 100 billion tokens, with a value of about $1.6 billion. Goldman Sachs is the top institutional holder with an $87 million position. Bitwise, for its part, has the biggest ETF-level holding at 362 million XRP.
Inflows Remain Strong
Since spot XRP ETFs launched in November 2025, cumulative net inflows in the U.S. market have climbed to about $1.79 billion. And from August 18 to September 1 this year, the funds posted 11 straight days of net inflows, adding roughly $170 million in that stretch.
Technology and Compliance Developments
XRP was developed by Ripple and is used mainly for cross-border payments and liquidity provision. On the tech side, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) recently released a working paper showing a tamper-proof data verification proof-of-concept built on the XRP Ledger.
Elsewhere, Evernorth is planning to launch a retail-focused XRP treasury entity. If shareholders approve a merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II, the entity would trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker "XRPN." The firms taking part are Ripple, SBI, Pantera, and Kraken. (Source: NADA NEWS)
