TechFlow reported on June 17 that, according to monitoring by PeckShield (@PeckShieldAlert), an address labeled as the UXLINK attacker has swapped approximately 14.6 million DAI for 8,298.6 ETH. The disclosed activity tracks movements from the marked on-chain address and centers on a conversion from the DAI stablecoin into ETH.
ETH Deposited Into Tornado Cash
After the swap, the same address deposited 8,340 ETH into Tornado Cash. PeckShield’s monitoring also showed that the address transferred 2.64 ETH, worth about $4,630 according to the original report, from Ethereum across chains to a Bitcoin address.
At the time of the disclosure, the UXLINK attacker address still held 10.54 million DAI. Based on the reported on-chain data, the address activity consists of three main movements: the DAI-to-ETH swap, the ETH deposit into Tornado Cash, and the smaller cross-chain ETH transfer to a Bitcoin address.
