TechFlow reported on June 17 that, according to on-chain monitoring by PeckShield (@PeckShieldAlert), an address labeled as the UXLINK attacker has swapped approximately 14.6 million DAI for 8,298.6 ETH. The monitoring update identified the address and outlined several subsequent fund movements involving ETH, Tornado Cash, and a cross-chain transfer.
Swap, Tornado Cash Deposit, and Cross-Chain Movement
After the DAI-to-ETH swap, the same address deposited 8,340 ETH into Tornado Cash. PeckShield’s monitoring also showed that the attacker transferred 2.64 ETH, worth about $4,630 according to the original report, from Ethereum to a Bitcoin address through a cross-chain transaction.
At the time of the report, the UXLINK attacker address still held 10.54 million DAI. The confirmed figures in the update are: about 14.6 million DAI exchanged for 8,298.6 ETH, 8,340 ETH deposited into Tornado Cash, and 2.64 ETH moved from Ethereum to a Bitcoin address.
