ChainCatcher reported, citing monitoring by on-chain analyst Yu Jin, that the attacker involved in the March THE collateral liquidation incident on Venus made a new on-chain move one hour ago. The attacker sold 1,912 ETH and converted the proceeds into 3.26 million USDT, which was then used to repay borrowings on Aave.
According to Yu Jin’s monitoring, those Aave borrowings were the same debt connected to the March incident. At that time, the attacker had pledged ETH, borrowed funds, and used them to manipulate the THE collateral liquidation on Venus. The latest sale of ETH for USDT was therefore used to address part of the debt tied to that earlier operation.
As of the reported monitoring update, the attacker still has 6.78 million USDT in unpaid borrowings on Aave. The input information does not provide further wallet details or any additional repayment arrangement beyond the sale of 1,912 ETH and the use of 3.26 million USDT for repayment.
