WalletConnect said its Pay feature now supports stablecoin deposits into CFD and perpetual futures platforms, adding a new on-ramp for derivatives trading infrastructure. The company said a single integration can connect more than 900 million users and over 700 wallet and exchange accounts, covering deposit needs ranging from small retail transfers to large institutional allocations. According to the platform, USDC has become the default unit of account for serving both sides of the user base because of its liquidity depth, issuer transparency, and cross-chain usability. WalletConnect also said the underlying infrastructure was designed to address regulatory requirements for compliant stablecoin settlement under the U.S. GENIUS Act and the European Union’s MiCA framework.
