WasabiCard, a global stablecoin payment infrastructure provider, has completed its participation at TOKEN2049 Singapore 2026. As a Gold Sponsor, the company used booths PB4-24 and PB4-25 to hold business meetings with financial institutions, payment networks, wallets, digital asset companies, fintech platforms and global businesses, with talks focused on global card issuance, stablecoin settlement, cross-border fund distribution and deployment of white-label payment products.

According to official TOKEN2049 information cited in the release, this year’s event was held on Oct. 7-8 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and brought together more than 25,000 attendees, 7,000 companies and 300 speakers. Over the two-day conference, the WasabiCard team held intensive discussions around specific markets and business use cases. The company said some conversations involving clearly defined demand have already moved into solution planning, product demonstrations and follow-up evaluation.
Talks centered on white-label payment infrastructure and global fund movement
One of the most discussed topics at the event was how companies can deploy their own branded payment products across different markets. WasabiCard said it presented white-label capabilities including virtual and physical cards, brand and card design customization, bulk card issuance, API integration, fund and spending controls, transaction tracking and risk management. In applicable projects and markets, those offerings can also support Dedicated BIN, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Discussions covered use cases including ad spending, OTA, SaaS subscriptions, global payroll, creator payouts, corporate spending and digital finance applications. Fintech platforms, wallets and digital asset companies were particularly focused on whether white-label products could be embedded into their existing user flows, and whether onboarding, card issuance, fund allocation, permission management and financial reconciliation could be managed through a unified system.
Global remittance was another major topic at the venue. WasabiCard said it connects stablecoin funds with local bank payment networks worldwide, with capabilities that can support business scenarios in more than 200 countries and regions and over 30 fiat currencies. Through supported markets and payment rails, eligible businesses can use stablecoins to allocate funds for cross-border payments, complete local fiat conversion and settle into same-name bank accounts. The company said it currently serves more than 700 enterprise clients.
Based on discussions held during the conference, WasabiCard said it will continue product and technical evaluations related to white-label card issuance, stablecoin fund allocation, local bank settlement, bulk payouts and API integration, and will develop follow-up plans based on each client’s market, business model and applicable requirements.
WasabiCard says APAC companies are focusing more on real deployment
From its conversations at the event, WasabiCard said APAC companies are moving beyond general interest in stablecoin payments and into practical deployment and scaled operations. Businesses operating across borders want to use stablecoins to improve flexibility in global fund allocation, while still needing cards, local bank accounts and other supported payment channels to use and distribute those funds.
Different types of companies showed different priorities. Fintech platforms and digital asset firms focused on white-label card issuance, API integration and speed to launch. Companies with global teams or platform-based operations paid closer attention to bulk payouts, local fiat settlement, payment status tracking and financial reconciliation. Businesses operating in multiple markets were more concerned with payment rail stability, regional applicability and risk control capabilities.
WasabiCard said these needs point to a more complete demand profile for stablecoin payment infrastructure in the APAC market. Companies want to configure payment products within their own brands and workflows, and choose card issuance, settlement and fund distribution methods based on customer qualification, collection conditions and applicable requirements in different markets. The company said mature white-label capabilities can help shorten deployment cycles while preserving control over branding, user experience, fund usage and transaction risk.
Infrastructure coordination is becoming a bigger factor in global payments
Conversations during TOKEN2049 also showed that stablecoins are being used more broadly for cross-border fund allocation, supplier payments, global payroll, creator earnings distribution and corporate spending, according to WasabiCard. The company said the long-term value of stablecoins in those scenarios depends on how well they work with card networks, local bank payment rails, identity verification, risk controls and financial management processes.
When businesses evaluate global payment infrastructure, market coverage, settlement efficiency and transaction costs remain key metrics, the company said. At the same time, system integration capability, the maturity of white-label products, transaction traceability and executability across different markets are becoming core factors in procurement and partnership reviews. For companies serving multiple countries and regions, unified interfaces, configurable permissions and transparent transaction management can reduce the complexity of cross-market operations.
Post-event follow-up will focus on meetings, demos and technical reviews
After the event, WasabiCard said it will move ahead with follow-up meetings, product demonstrations, technical evaluations and commercial discussions based on the talks held on site. It also plans to assess potential cooperation with relevant companies in global card issuance, white-label payment products, stablecoin settlement and cross-border fund distribution.
The company said it will continue tracking enterprise payment demand in APAC and other international markets and keep improving its global payment infrastructure for enterprises, fintech platforms and internet-native businesses.
