Odaily reported, citing monitoring by on-chain analyst Ai Yi, that address 0x770…399f2 has closed a WBTC position after holding it for around two months. The address bought 112.86 WBTC on April 14, near the starting point of the price rally at that time, at an average purchase price of $71,655. The position was valued at approximately $8.08 million when it was opened.
According to the monitoring data, the holding once generated more than $1 million in unrealized profit in mid-May. The address did not sell at that stage and continued to hold the position. It eventually cleared the WBTC in batches, with sales taking place on June 16 and again seven hours before the report. The reported selling price was $64,723.
Based on the average entry price and the reported exit price, the value of the position fell by 10% over the two-month holding period. WBTC is an on-chain asset pegged to Bitcoin, and large-address activity such as accumulation, continued holding and final exits can be followed through transaction records on the blockchain.
