The coming week features a dense schedule across regulation, crypto market structure, project operations, and macro data. Among the headline events, Anthropic plans to publish its IPO prospectus after the U.S. Labor Day holiday on Sept. 7, while the U.S. August PPI, CPI, and core CPI are also due.
In crypto, Ondo Finance will stop minting USDY on Aptos and Noble from Sept. 8, BitMart said it expects to share progress on a restructuring plan by Sept. 9 at the latest, and Coinbase International Exchange will move institutional clients to Deribit on Sept. 9.
Sept. 7: Japan consultation deadline, Binance product listings, Anthropic IPO filing plan
Japan’s Financial Services Agency, or FSA, has published draft revisions to rules including the Comprehensive Supervisory Guidelines for Major Banks and related institutions. The proposal would unify the reporting format that companies use when submitting reports to authorities after computer system failures or cybersecurity incidents. The changes would apply to supervisory guidelines across 17 fields, including guidance for crypto asset exchange operators. The public comment period ends on Sept. 7, 2026.
Under the revised framework, incident reports would be grouped into three categories: a common format for DDoS incidents, a common format for ransomware incidents, and a newly created common format for "other cyberattacks and related incidents." Previously, only DDoS and ransomware incidents could use a common reporting format.

Trading support will end at 15:00 local time on Sept. 7, 2026, and withdrawal support will end on Oct. 7, 2026, local time.

Starting Sept. 8, existing revenue-sharing users can apply to join the new Original Content Rewards program if they meet the eligibility requirements. Eligible creators will earn based on qualified impressions generated by their original content. Rewards under the new program will be paid every two weeks, with the first payment set for Aug. 28. Sept. 8: Ondo halts USDY minting on Aptos and Noble, Superposition shuts down
Ondo Finance said it will stop minting USDY on Aptos and Noble beginning Sept. 8. USDY on other supported networks will not be affected. Because USDY on Osmosis and Mantra is bridged from Noble through IBC, holders on those networks will also be affected.
Ondo said USDY will remain fully backed throughout the process and that all affected holders will have a full migration or exit path. Holders with 1,000 USDY or more can bridge to other supported networks or redeem directly with Ondo at net asset value through Sept. 8, 2027. Holders with less than 1,000 USDY can exit through third-party open-market liquidity during a 90-day transition period running through Dec. 7, 2026.
For holders on Osmosis and Mantra, Ondo said they can first bridge back to Noble via IBC and then follow the same rules, or exit directly on Osmosis through third-party liquidity.
Superposition, a DeFi-native Layer3 project built on Arbitrum One, will shut down on Sept. 8, 2026. The team said USDC on Superposition was deprecated early on Aug. 28, and Stargate is the only route for moving funds out. Any USDC left on Superposition after the deadline may become non-withdrawable. Once the chain is shut down on Sept. 8, other assets may also become inaccessible. The team has published a full migration guide and urged users to move funds early.
Sept. 9: BitMart update deadline, Deribit migration, Balancer response window
Binance will stop supporting withdrawals for Alchemix (ALCX), Ardor (ARDR), NFPrompt Token (NFP), and Marlin (POND) after 11:00 on Sept. 9. Binance had already delisted and halted spot trading for those tokens at 11:00 on July 10, and deposits stopped being credited after 11:00 on July 11.
BitMart said it is in discussions with the community, creditors, and advisers on a "potential restructuring plan" as an alternative to full liquidation. The plan could include a phased and orderly resumption of certain business lines, subject to legal, financial, operational, and compliance assessments, while also making distributions to creditors.
BitMart has hired White & Case as restructuring legal adviser to help design the restructuring and phased business recovery framework. The platform said it will provide a further update no later than Sept. 9, 2026, and warned users to stay alert to scams and rely only on official channels. The announcement did not say when customer withdrawals might resume.
Coinbase International Exchange’s institutional client migration to Deribit is also scheduled for Sept. 9. Account balances and positions will be transferred to Deribit, open orders will be canceled, and positions will be settled at market prices before being rebuilt on Deribit.
Clients who do not want to migrate must close positions and shut their accounts by Aug. 28, or they will be treated as having accepted the move. Around 30 minutes of downtime is expected on migration day. Positions will be settled at mark prices and rebuilt on Deribit through matching migration trades. Existing API keys will not work on Deribit, so clients will need to update endpoints and credentials. Historical data will remain available on the old API for about 12 months, but it will not migrate to Deribit. Existing margin loans must be repaid before migration, and post-migration margin requirements will depend on the Deribit model and institutional arrangement.
Balancer said it sent an on-chain message to the wallet tied to the Aug. 31 Balancer V1 exploit, offering a bounty in exchange for the return of funds and saying it would not pursue legal action solely for the act of returning the assets if the conditions are met. If the other party does not respond before 5:00 a.m. Beijing time on Sept. 9, Balancer said it will pursue technical, on-chain, and legal measures to trace the attacker.
The incident caused losses of about $234,000. Earlier, Balancer said it had found a vulnerability in legacy v1 contracts that could drain LP funds and advised users to withdraw as soon as possible.
According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple’s first foldable iPhone is expected to debut at an event around Sept. 9, with a price above $2,000. People who have used the device said its portability, hinge feel, and durability stand out, and that its larger internal display will use an iPad-like app layout and can also serve as a camera viewfinder.
The report said the device will use Touch ID instead of Face ID and will not include a telephoto camera. Gurman said the ultra-premium product could become an important draw for Apple’s retail stores and may lift broader market attention on foldable phones worldwide.

Sept. 10: U.S. PPI, ECB rate decision, SecondFi recovery timetable
At 20:30 Beijing time on Thursday, Sept. 10, the United States will release August producer price index data on both a yearly and monthly basis. Bloomberg Economics expects the annual rate to rise to 5.3% and the monthly figure to increase 0.4%, mainly because higher energy prices have pushed up transportation and warehousing costs.
The report said the PPI reading, together with CPI data due the next day, will shape expectations for the Federal Reserve’s September meeting.
The European Central Bank will also announce its rate decision on Sept. 10. Bloomberg Economics said the expected hike has already been well telegraphed by the Governing Council, and market attention will turn to forward guidance for December. The ECB will publish updated economic projections the same day, with inflation forecasts expected to be revised up by about 0.2 to 0.3 percentage points. The report said hawkish thinking supports a rate increase, but tighter financial conditions are a constraint, making President Christine Lagarde’s press conference a focal point.
Cardano wallet service provider SecondFi said it will cease operations and is preparing a wallet migration tool and an asset recovery process for affected users. The migration tool went live on Aug. 14 and supports transfers of remaining Cardano assets in SecondFi wallets, including ADA, native tokens, and NFTs, to a Cardano wallet chosen by the user. Non-Cardano assets require separate handling.
SecondFi said the migration tool has passed an independent security review by Bitdefender. The recovery process is scheduled to go live by Sept. 10. Users affected by the June 2026 incident will be able to verify wallet ownership through zero-knowledge proofs and submit claims.
Court records show that the U.S. Court of Federal Claims issued a procedural order on July 31 in Chainalysis’ lawsuit against the U.S. government, with TRM Labs participating as a defendant-intervenor. The court allowed the plaintiff to file its complaint and motion for a protective order under seal and set a cross-motion schedule: the plaintiff filed its motion for judgment on the administrative record, or MJAR, on Aug. 26; the defendant and intervenor responded and filed cross-motions on Aug. 31; replies were filed on Sept. 1; and oral argument was scheduled for Sept. 2. The government asked the court to rule by Sept. 10.
Chainalysis said the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement bypassed normal competition procedures and awarded an exclusive procurement contract directly to one of its main competitors, TRM Labs, and asked the court to stop the arrangement.

Sept. 11: U.S. CPI and core CPI in focus, CME expands silver futures trading
At 20:30 Beijing time on Friday, Sept. 11, the United States will release August CPI and core CPI. It will be the last inflation reading before the Federal Reserve’s September rate meeting.
The report said Fed "mouthpiece" Waller has already signaled a preference to keep rates unchanged. Waller said August inflation data will "greatly affect" his vote at the September meeting: if core month-on-month inflation does not exceed 0.2%, he would lean toward holding rates steady; if it rises above 0.3%, he would consider a rate hike.
The report added that this will be the final inflation read before the September meeting and said it will directly shape pricing in U.S. Treasuries, the dollar, and U.S. growth stocks.
CME Group said its 100-ounce silver futures contract will expand to 24-hour trading starting Sept. 11, 2026, pending regulatory review. Jin Hennig, Managing Director and Global Head of Metals at CME Group, said: "Silver connects the worlds of precious metals and industrial metals. For investors, it works as a diversification tool while also responding to macroeconomic news and physical demand. Our retail clients have shown strong demand for being able to trade 1-ounce gold futures whenever needed, so we are now extending that same around-the-clock access to silver to help participants manage risk and capture opportunity."
CME said that since 1-ounce gold futures began round-the-clock trading on July 24, weekend trading in the new sessions has totaled more than 53,000 contracts, with notional value of about $219 million, making it the most liquid weekend market for gold futures.
