On-chain data shows the whale first opened the position on Aug. 10, when it became one of the largest SOL long bets in the market at the time. The address then closed about half of the position on Aug. 19, locking in around $475,000 in profit. Later that night, it added back exposure near $82.16, restoring the portion that had been cut.
The whale is still carrying a large leveraged SOL long, according to the monitoring update cited by BlockBeats. Further changes in the position remain in focus as traders watch whether the address continues to add, reduce, or unwind exposure.
