On Sept. 22, BlockBeats cited on-chain tracker EmberCN as saying that a whale or institutional holder recently fully exited a 31.4 million CRV position that had been held for about three years. The address accumulated the tokens between 2023 and 2024 by withdrawing them from Binance over time, with total spending of about $15.13 million and an average entry price near $0.48 per token. Over the past two weeks, the same address transferred the CRV to OKX and sold the position at an average price of about $0.35. Based on those figures, the realized loss came to roughly $4.1 million, or 27%. The report did not identify the owner of the address, describing it only as a whale or institution.

BlockBeats said on Sept. 22, citing EmberCN, that a whale or institutional holder has now dumped its full 31.4 million CRV stack after sitting on it for about three years, locking in a loss of roughly $4.1 million, or 27%.

Monitoring data shows the address built that 31.4 million CRV position between 2023 and 2024, pulling the tokens out of Binance bit by bit. Total cost came to about $15.13 million. Average entry price: around $0.48.

Then, over the past two weeks, the address sent the CRV to OKX and sold the lot at an average price of about $0.35.
