On-chain analyst Ember reported that a whale or institutional entity has recently exited long-held DeFi token positions, realizing a combined loss of $9.61 million. The address sold 37.26 million CRV 10 days ago after holding the tokens for three years. That position was worth $13.05 million at exit, with an average entry price of $0.51 and a sale price of $0.35, resulting in a $5.97 million loss. Separately, three hours ago, the same entity transferred 4.01 million PENDLE to OKX and sold at $2.38 after holding the tokens for one year. The average entry price for that position was $3.29, bringing the loss on the trade to $3.64 million. The two disposals together brought total realized losses to $9.61 million, according to Ember’s monitoring.

According to monitoring by on-chain analyst Ember, a whale or institutional entity has recently exited long-held DeFi token positions, booking total losses of $9.61 million.

Ten days ago, the address sold 37.26 million CRV that it had held for three years. The position was worth $13.05 million at the time of sale. Ember said the average entry price was $0.51, while the exit price was $0.35, leaving the holder with a $5.97 million loss.

Then, three hours ago, the same entity transferred 4.01 million PENDLE, held for one year, to OKX and sold at $2.38. The average entry price for that position had been $3.29, resulting in a further $3.64 million loss.
