Arkham said whale wallet mtAAVEbank.ETH sold more than 138,000 LINK about six hours earlier, a transaction valued at roughly $1.9 million. At the time of the sale, BTC had not yet fallen below $84,000. The on-chain tracker said the wallet may have sold LINK to fund an 8x leveraged CRCL position on Hyperliquid. That position at one point showed an unrealized loss of more than $1.25 million. Arkham data also showed the whale still holds more than $21 million in digital assets, mostly stablecoins. More than 10% of the wallet’s funds came from borrowing on Aave.

At the time, BTC had not yet dropped below $84,000. Arkham said the whale may have sold LINK to provide funds for its 8x leveraged CRCL position on Hyperliquid.
