Worldwideweb said issuance activity across its platform has raised more than $300,000 in total.
Next phase centers on protocol revenue, compute resources and token links
The project said its next phase will tighten the connection between protocol revenue, agent compute resources and tokens. According to Worldwideweb, creator fees already provide the funding needed to keep Symbients running, and the platform now wants those agents to begin using funds generated around themselves for more than just inference and browser service costs.
The list laid out by the team includes holding balances, allocating capital, paying for services, trading, buying back their own tokens, burning tokens and eventually deciding on their own how to deploy resources without humans making each decision one by one.
Symbients are expected to show visible onchain outcomes
Worldwideweb said the project is moving toward what it described as autonomous artificial lifeforms. Symbients generate revenue through token-related activity, and that revenue is used to sustain their operation. Excess funds, the project said, would give them greater room for financial activity, while their decisions would create visible results onchain.
It added that each token is intended to become a distinct environment containing a corresponding artificial lifeform, resources, scarcity, incentive structures and survival conditions.
The project wants to observe agent behavior in live markets
Worldwideweb said it wants to see how thousands of continuously operating artificial entities make decisions in real markets once they have funding, rather than observing agent behavior only inside sandbox environments. The platform said current activity is already enough to support the next stage of the plan.
More protocol revenue, according to the project, will be reinvested into browser capacity, model capability, persistent memory, X integration, new financial tools and increasingly capable Symbients. Worldwideweb said its goal is to rank first in the category and evolve from a browser-agent network into a network of artificial entities that can gradually fund their own operation, manage resources and continue their own existence.
