Stellar's native token XLM delivered its strongest rally of 2026, surging nearly 100% in just two days — from around $0.15 to $0.298 — accompanied by trading volume exceeding 2.5 billion units. The sudden move marks a sharp reversal after months of subdued price action between December 2025 and April 2026, when XLM mostly oscillated between $0.15 and $0.26 under pressure.
Key Resistance at $0.30 in Focus
Analysts Dark Defender and The Boss have highlighted critical technical levels that could shape XLM's next move. Dark Defender noted the token maintains a bullish setup supported by the Relative Strength Index (RSI). He stated that Wave 3 could extend toward the 361.80% Fibonacci extension if the $0.29 support area holds. He also compared the current pattern to a setup seen in March and suggested XRP might follow a similar trajectory.
The Boss, meanwhile, described XLM as one of the strongest performers over the past two days, noting it is attempting to break above a descending trend structure after the sharp rally. Support levels are marked by green zones on his chart, while major resistance sits at yellow zones.
Golden Cross and Volume Spike Reinforce Bullish Case
During the surge, the 50-day moving average crossed above the 200-day moving average, forming a Golden Cross — a widely followed bullish signal. The current price holds above both averages, with the MA50 near $0.18 and the MA200 around $0.163. Immediate support lies at $0.23 and $0.20, while resistance remains in the $0.29–$0.30 range, where the recent rally stalled. The heavy volume spike accompanying the breakout adds credibility to the move.
The $0.30 level now stands as a decisive battleground for bulls and bears. A clean break above could open the path for further upside, while a rejection may prompt a retest of lower supports.
