XRP Ledger has processed more than 5 billion transactions since its launch in June 2012, according to Techub News, citing U.Today. The network was described as offering low transaction costs and settlement times of roughly 3 to 4 seconds per transfer.
The report also said XRP Ledger now has more than 8 million accounts. In addition, about 14.37 million XRP have been burned over the network’s lifetime.
Techub’s summary added two market-related figures tied to the broader XRP ecosystem. Spot XRP exchange-traded funds in the United States are currently holding $1.4 billion worth of XRP, while the value of real-world assets recorded on the ledger has reached $4.05 billion. The update highlights both transaction growth on the network and the scale of assets now associated with XRP-related products and onchain tokenization activity.
