A wallet suspected to be linked to crypto KOL @XXAntiWar bought 17.56 million "Niulai" tokens on Aug. 30 when the token’s market capitalization was around $86 million, BlockBeats reported. Hours later, Binance announced that it would list "Niulai" futures. The wallet’s position at one point showed an unrealized gain of more than 47%, peaking at about $860,000, with the position cost estimated at roughly $1.514 million.
TRUMP trade previously produced multimillion-dollar gains
BlockBeats said wallets believed to be associated with @XXAntiWar had also recorded several large winning trades in the past, including a position in TRUMP.
On Jan. 18, 2025, the wallet used 25,800 SOL, worth about $6 million, to buy 701,000 TRUMP at an average price of about $8.5. Three hours later, it sold 221,000 TRUMP at an average price of about $19.1. At that point, realized and unrealized profit combined was about $10.19 million.
The report added that other on-chain analysts later published a higher estimate, saying total sales reached about $34.8 million and profit exceeded $27 million.
TST trade swung from paper loss to profit
In another trade, the suspected linked wallet made a large TST purchase on the day TST was listed on Binance Alpha, initially showing a paper loss before moving into profit after a later Binance spot listing.
On Feb. 9, 2025, immediately after Binance Alpha listed TST, the related wallet spent 5,089 BNB, or about $3.17 million, to buy 16.25 million TST at an average price of about $0.195. The position was then showing an unrealized loss of about $1.13 million.
Later the same day, Binance announced a TST spot listing. The token price briefly rose to around $0.4, and the wallet’s unrealized gain climbed to about $3.18 million.
@XXAntiWar had warned about the risks
BlockBeats also noted that @XXAntiWar responded publicly on the day TST was listed on Binance and warned about the risks. The post said readers should not focus only on other people making money, and that several of the writer’s own smaller wallets had already been tagged as "big retail losers." The post also said that "it’s not the case that any token bought blindly at the top will get listed on Binance," and acknowledged a loss of nearly $500,000 from trading jellyjelly.
