Operating income reached NT$35.965 billion, and operating margin was 27.2%, up 5.5 percentage points from the same period last year.

Company cites AI demand as the main growth driver

Yageo said the sharp increase in revenue during the first three quarters was mainly driven by rigid and incremental demand from AI-related applications, which supported steady growth in shipments of both standard and specialty products. Other end markets also showed a mild recovery.

Looking ahead, the company said rapid upgrades in AI computing architecture and end hardware are bringing a long-term structural shift to the electronic components industry. It added that customer inventory levels are generally staying at healthy levels. Yageo said it will respond cautiously to macroeconomic changes and use its global production footprint and flexible allocation mechanisms to reduce the impact of geopolitical risks, changes in tariff policies across countries, and foreign exchange volatility on operations.
