Yuden Control (7962), a precision measurement company, held a pre-listing earnings briefing on Oct. 22 before its planned debut on Taiwan’s Emerging Stock Board. The company had originally been set to start trading on Oct. 23 at a reference price of NT$42.5 per share, but the listing was pushed back to the next trading day, Oct. 27, after work and classes were suspended because of a typhoon.
Yuden Control began as an agent for industrial measurement products and later developed its own brand. It has since shifted into a measurement solutions provider that handles research and development, manufacturing, distribution and calibration services in-house. The company said it is optimistic about precision measurement demand tied to semiconductor cleanrooms, advanced process equipment and AI data centers.
Own-brand products contribute more than half of revenue
According to Commercial Times, Yuden Control has paid-in capital of NT$253 million and runs a three-track business model covering its own brand, distribution of international brands and TAF calibration services. Its eyc-tech brand includes temperature and humidity, dew point, wind speed, differential pressure and flow measurement products, accounting for about 55% of revenue. Distribution of international brands makes up about 40%.
The company has also built its own calibration laboratory certified under ISO/IEC 17025, with six calibration systems covering temperature, humidity, dew point, pressure, wind speed and water flow. Product R&D, manufacturing, performance verification, calibration and customized development can all be completed internally.
Semiconductors and AI data centers are the main growth focus
Yuden Control said its customer base is still centered on the semiconductor industry, while it has also expanded into AI data centers in recent years. The business is mainly divided into three categories.
- Cleanrooms and plant construction projects: This is the company’s largest revenue contributor, accounting for about half of revenue this year. Yuden Control supplies wind speed, micro differential pressure, and temperature and humidity sensors used in cleanrooms and HVAC systems at wafer fabs, electronics plants and high-tech facilities. End customers are all semiconductor manufacturers.
- Advanced process equipment makers: Helped by advanced packaging demand and semiconductor equipment capacity expansion, the company provides high-specification measurement products to customers in this segment. Related sales rose more than 40% this year, and some customers have order visibility through the second quarter of 2027.
- AI data centers: As AI servers consume more power, liquid cooling is gradually becoming the mainstream cooling method. Yuden Control has entered the cooling distribution unit, or CDU, supply chain and supplies flow, pressure and temperature sensors. Sales tied to data centers increased more than 200% this year, making it the growth area the company is most optimistic about.
First-three-quarter EPS reached NT$2.22
In the first three quarters of this year, Yuden Control posted revenue of NT$274 million, up 14.1% year over year. Net profit after tax reached NT$53.22 million, already above the NT$52.75 million reported for all of last year. Earnings per share came in at NT$2.22. Gross margin was 47.71%, higher than 45.50% for the full previous year.
Combined sales from semiconductor equipment and data center business rose 69% from a year earlier, and their share of revenue increased from 22.8% last year to 31.8%.
Company to focus on three areas going forward
Yuden Control said it will focus on semiconductor equipment, liquid cooling for AI data centers and clean utility engineering, while also expanding in overseas markets. Legal persons said they expect order momentum in the second half of the year to continue and support a record high in annual revenue.
