According to Odaily, Zcash founder zooko posted on X that Anthropic and Mythos have carried out a security audit of Zcash at the request of Shielded Labs. Based on the information he shared, the review did not identify any additional serious vulnerabilities in the Zcash protocol.
The disclosure centers on a protocol-level security review involving Anthropic and Mythos. Zooko stated that the work was requested by Shielded Labs, with the audit focused on examining security issues in Zcash and determining whether more severe flaws were present in the protocol.
Zooko also said that Shielded Labs and other parties are continuing security hardening work. For Zcash, a cryptocurrency project known for privacy-focused design, protocol security audits and follow-up hardening are part of maintaining network safety. The information released in this update is limited to the completion of the audit, the absence of additional serious protocol vulnerabilities, and the continuation of security reinforcement efforts by the relevant teams.
