Securitize Goes Public via SPAC Merger: Raises $400M, Ticker SECZ, Listing on NYSE July 2
Securitize announced its business combination with SPAC Cantor Equity Partners II (NASDAQ: CEPT), expected to raise approximately $400 million (including PIPE, before expenses). Post-merger, the combined entity will be renamed Securitize Corp. and its common stock is slated to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker “SECZ” on July 2. The CEPT shareholder vote is scheduled for June 29, with current redemption rates below 30%. Securitize holds dual regulatory licenses in the U.S. and EU and manages over $4 billion in on-chain real-world assets. The listing marks a milestone for tokenized securities infrastructure.
