Securitize Merges with SPAC, Raises $400M, to List on NYSE as SECZ on July 2
Securitize has announced a business combination with SPAC Cantor Equity Partners II (NASDAQ: CEPT), targeting approximately $400 million in gross proceeds including PIPE. The merged entity will rename to Securitize Corp. and list its common stock on the NYSE under the ticker “SECZ” starting July 2. The CEPT shareholder vote is scheduled for June 29, with current redemption rate below 30%. Securitize claims it holds dual regulatory licenses for digital securities infrastructure in both the U.S. and the EU. The platform manages over $4 billion in on-chain real-world assets (RWA), spanning private equity, real estate, and debt instruments. This listing marks a major step for RWA tokenization into public capital markets.
