Gold rises to $4,097.64 an ounce as European stock indexes move higher
Gold climbed to $4,097.64 per ounce, up 0.39% on the day, according to the latest data cited by Odaily from Gate. Silver also advanced to $59.19 per ounce, posting a 2.27% daily gain. In crypto volatility indicators, BVIX, the BTC volatility index, rose 3.49% to 38.52, while EVIX, the ETH volatility index, gained 2.97% to 52. Foreign exchange moves were limited, with USD/CNH flat on the day at 6.7684 and USD/JPY down 0.01% at 163.134. European equities traded higher across major benchmarks, including the Euro Stoxx 50, the FTSE 100, and Germany’s DAX40. In commodities, both WTI and Brent crude edged lower.
