South Korean wallet provider DCENT said it detected abnormal transfers involving its software-based App Wallet and has identified 6,160 potentially affected addresses. The company said a total of 9.3 million XRP was stolen in the incident. Of that amount, 2 million XRP remains in a tracked wallet, while 7 million XRP has already been moved to an unidentified service. DCENT urged affected users to update immediately to version v10.0.0 and move their assets to a secure wallet created with a brand-new recovery phrase. The company also warned users to watch for impersonation scams, saying it has never asked for a recovery phrase, private key, or PIN through Telegram, Discord, or direct messages. According to the report, token issuers have been asked to freeze the stolen assets tied to the case. The update was cited by Techub, with U.Today named as the source in the report.

South Korea-based digital asset wallet company IoTrust on Sept. 8 introduced a new brand identity for its DCENT brand, marking the first major rebrand since the brand was established eight years ago. The company also rolled out the new slogan, "Own your future. At ease.," along with a new signature color called "DCENT Lime." At the center of the rebrand is the idea of "Beyond Storage," which positions DCENT as more than a storage device brand and broadens its focus to storage, backup, management, and use of digital assets. Alongside the rebrand, IoTrust launched DCENT X, a new hardware wallet featuring a 2.4-inch AMOLED touchscreen and fingerprint recognition, designed to let users review transaction details clearly and approve them with a single touch. The company also said DCENT is expanding beyond retail users into enterprise and institutional business through DCENT Enterprise, an institutional-grade solution that includes internal control features such as multi-level approvals. DCENT currently supports more than 100 blockchain networks and over 10,000 tokens, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP Ledger, Solana, and Stellar.
