Quantus launches quantum-resistant PoW mainnet, opens QTC mining
Quantus has launched a proof-of-work mainnet built with quantum-resistant cryptography, according to a report cited by Odaily and sourced to Bitcoin.com News. The network includes ML-DSA-65 and ML-DSA-87 digital signature mechanisms as part of its design. Quantus also set the maximum supply of its native token, QTC, at 21 million coins. The project said PoW mining is available from the start of the mainnet launch. The update centers on network architecture, token issuance limits, and mining access, with no other rollout details disclosed in the brief announcement.
