Aave Labs’ two London entities have received FCA approval to offer crypto exchange services in the UK, supported by a dual structure that also includes EMI capabilities.
According to Foresight News, crypto exchange Backpack has obtained three major European licenses (MiFID II, EMI, and VASP), clearing regulatory hurdles for compliant operations in Europe. This move is seen as the fruit of compliance efforts from years ago, potentially helping Backpack recover from the trust crisis following the FTX collapse. However, market competition remains intense.
