Societe Generale's EURCV Stablecoin Market Cap Grows $5.6M, Becomes Second-Fastest Growing Euro Stablecoin

The EURCV stablecoin issued by Societe Generale's SG Forge has seen its market cap grow by approximately $5.6 million, making it the second-fastest growing euro-denominated stablecoin. Currently valued between $140 million and $180 million, EURCV trails only Circle's EURC in the euro stablecoin market. Launched in 2023, it is one of the first bank-issued euro digital assets, deployed on Ethereum and Solana, and fully compliant with the EU's MiCA regulation. The token is used for cross-border payments, tokenized asset settlement, and DeFi integration, aiming to provide euro-native infrastructure for digital finance in the eurozone.
