With the update, users can pay onchain gas fees with 18 Celo-native assets instead of relying only on CELO. The supported assets are USDT, USDC, USDm, EURm, GBPm, JPYm, CADm, AUDm, CHFm, BRLm, NGNm, PHPm, COPm, KESm, ZARm, XOFm, GHSm and WETH.
