Ondo Finance Names Former GFMA Director Allison Parent as Chief Policy Officer
Ondo Finance has announced the appointment of Allison Parent as its new chief policy officer, bringing a veteran of global regulatory circles into the tokenized-asset sector. Parent previously served as executive director at the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) and led global policy at Barclays. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at the U.S. Senate Budget Committee and at the Bank of England, and took part in the development of major financial regulatory frameworks, including the Dodd-Frank Act. Ondo Finance said the appointment is intended to strengthen industry collaboration with regulators around the world and to establish cross-border market standards for tokenized assets. Parent described tokenization as the most important market infrastructure advancement of this generation, adding that the correct regulatory foundation will determine the pace of its global rollout. She also stressed that innovation-driven growth must be balanced against market integrity and financial stability.
