Tencent unveils Gander, an AI assistant built for live conversation and background task handling

Tencent has introduced a new AI assistant called Gander, according to Techub News, combining real-time conversation with AI agent capabilities in a single system. The product is designed around a two-part structure: a "small brain" that manages the live dialogue and a switchable "big brain" that works in the background on more complex tasks. Users can interrupt the conversation at any time while the assistant is operating. Benchmark results cited in the report show that Gander interrupted users in only 8% of cases.
