Google Gemini tests Notebooks feature with NotebookLM integration

A Techub page says Google Gemini is testing a Notebooks feature and integrating it with NotebookLM. Beyond that headline, the page mainly includes platform notices rather than detailed product information. It lists a contact process for copyright or policy complaints, asking users to provide the rights holder’s name and contact details, proof of ownership for the allegedly infringed work, and the specific infringing link with an explanation. The page provides creator@techub.news for related reports and contacting@techub.news for business inquiries. It also includes a download link for the Techub News app at https://www.techub.news/download and notes that users can also scan a QR code. A disclaimer on the page says all information is for reference only and that the website does not guarantee accuracy, validity, timeliness, or completeness. It adds that users bear their own risk when relying on information published on the site. The page also shows several related items, including stories about Jeff Dean, Demis Hassabis, BlackRock’s European Bitcoin ETP, and TrustLinq’s integration with Ripple Payments.

TrendForce says NAND supply shortage may ease in the second half of 2027

TrendForce said server demand now accounts for more than 40% of total NAND flash demand, but smartphones and notebooks still make up nearly 40% combined, leaving consumer electronics with a major influence on overall demand. The research firm also said memory makers’ inventory levels remain relatively low. While module manufacturers have built up more inventory because of weak consumer demand, stock levels held by other buyers are still manageable. Based on those conditions, TrendForce expects the bit supply-demand gap for NAND flash to stay at 4%-5% in 2026, pointing to a continued supply shortage. It added that the gap is expected to turn positive in the second half of 2027, which would ease pressure from tight supply.
