SlowMist says two attackers copied the Notional exploit pattern on BNB Chain

SlowMist said it has identified two attackers reusing the recent Notional exploit pattern on BNB Chain. According to the security firm, the attackers have already completed the preparatory steps and created malicious fCash positions using the same setup, but the attack has not been fully carried out yet. The positions are now waiting to mature, and SlowMist warned that once they reach maturity, they may be settled and used to drain assets from the affected protocol. The firm urged relevant projects to put mitigation measures in place before the positions expire. The disclosure was made in a post on X and points to an ongoing risk rather than a completed exploit at this stage.
