GTA 6 leak clips were used to market a Solana meme coin tied to token-based voting

An anonymous group calling itself CyberLeek has linked alleged Grand Theft Auto VI development footage to a Solana meme coin, $CYBERLEEK, turning each new leak into a distribution and monetization event. According to the MarsBit article by Claude at TechFlow, on-chain records show the token was created 7 hours and 47 minutes before the first leaked game image appeared, and the same Solana wallet funded the domain registration, token launch, liquidity setup, and an account later used to distribute the leaked content. The report says $CYBERLEEK was launched on Aug. 15, reached a peak market cap of 15M, and was around 12M at publication. The token’s structure included a 1 billion supply, locked LP, and revoked mint and freeze permissions, while leaked videos carried an embedded “BUY $CYBERLEEK ON SOLANA” banner and QR code. CyberLeek also ran a voting system in which users sent tokens to a designated wallet, with one token counting as one vote to decide what leak would come next. The article estimates first-day trading volume at $15 million, generating about $30,000 in fees, while actual upfront spending was less than $3,500 if liquidity capital is excluded. It also says the group later burned 270 million reserved tokens, or 27% of supply, even as trading-fee revenue continued. Separately, Take-Two Interactive has sought subpoenas in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York targeting Microsoft and Discord for account information tied to the case.
