Ondo Perps adds tokenized Circle, SpaceX and SanDisk shares as collateral for perpetuals

Ondo Perps has added tokenized shares of Circle, SpaceX, and SanDisk to its list of eligible collateral, giving traders a way to post those assets directly against perpetual futures positions without first selling them into USDC. The newly supported instruments are Circle (CRCLon), SpaceX (SPCXon), and SanDisk (SNDKon). The setup allows users to keep their exposure to the underlying tokenized equities while using them in derivatives trading. The move comes during a strong year for on-chain equities. As of August, tokenized stocks had reached an estimated $1.8 billion in market capitalization, accounting for roughly 15% of the tracked real-world asset market, according to the source material. That share was three times the level seen at the start of 2026. Ondo held the largest portion of that market on Aug. 17, at about $957 million. Ondo said its tokenized stocks and ETFs are backed by the corresponding securities and cash. The underlying assets are held with U.S.-registered broker-dealers or national trust companies, with daily reviews conducted by an independent verification agent.

JPMorgan reiterates Overweight on SpaceX, keeps $240 target on stronger Grok view

JPMorgan has reiterated its Overweight rating on SpaceX (SPCX.O) and maintained a $240 price target, citing growing confidence in the outlook for Grok artificial intelligence. The bank also highlighted SpaceX’s acquisition of Cursor. According to the report cited in the source material, Cursor generates about $4 billion in annual recurring revenue, with 75% of that tied to enterprise business. JPMorgan said it expects the deal to strengthen SpaceX’s enterprise AI strategy, expand its model training data, and improve Grok’s performance. The note centers on AI-related upside rather than any separate business update, with Cursor’s enterprise-heavy revenue mix presented as a key support point for the bank’s view.

Gate to support first SPCX share unlock in line with SpaceX schedule

Gate said it will support the first share unlock for SpaceX (SPCX), the debut project on its Pre-IPOs platform, at 20:00 UTC+8 on Aug. 26 in line with SpaceX’s stock unlock schedule. The first batch totals 33,900 SPCX. According to the announcement, users will receive a 20% stock unlock based on their actual holdings captured in a spot account snapshot, with the corresponding shares distributed directly to their Gate stock accounts at a 1:1 ratio. The unlock covers SPCX obtained and still held through prior Pre-IPOs subscriptions, as well as SPCX bought later on the market. SPCX that has already been sold will not be included in this round. Gate also asked users to review their SPCX holdings and open orders in advance to make sure the tokens intended for this unlock remain available. The exchange said this is the first 20% stock unlock for SpaceX, and the remaining portion will be handled under the target company’s unlock rules, subject to official Gate announcements.

Bitget launches second FCN product tied to U.S. stocks with 20% strike discount and up to 25% APR

Bitget has rolled out the second phase of its FCN, or Fixed Coupon Note, product linked to U.S. stock rTokens. The new offering uses a 20% discount to set the execution price, allowing users to subscribe with USDT and choose from three underlying names: MicroStrategy (MSTR), SK Hynix (SKHY), and SpaceX (SPCX). The reference APR ranges are 19% to 25% for MSTR, 14% to 17% for SKHY, and 13% to 16% for SPCX. Bitget is also running a limited-time cashback campaign tied to cumulative subscription amounts, with rewards reaching as high as 10,000 USDT per user. The campaign runs through Sept. 18. Under the product structure, if the observation price at maturity is not below the execution price, users receive their USDT principal back along with fixed interest. If the observation price falls below the execution price, the principal is converted into the corresponding rToken at the execution price, while the fixed interest is still paid.

MSX sets Aug. 31 launch for Pre-IPO phase three, adding Neuralink and Anduril

MSX will open subscriptions for the third phase of its Pre-IPO offering on Aug. 31, 2026, adding Neuralink and Anduril to a lineup that has already included Cerebras, SpaceX, Anthropic and Polymarket. The PANews article frames the new phase around a broader shift in AI investing: value creation moving beyond models and screens and deeper into the physical world. The report says MSX’s first two phases have already tested two key exit paths. Cerebras and SpaceX moved through a route tied to public listing and exchange trading, while Anthropic and Polymarket added a buyback option for eligible holders. PANews argues that this matters more than simply getting access to high-profile private companies, because a workable path from subscription to holding, listing or buyback, and eventual liquidity is what determines whether a Pre-IPO product can operate in practice. For the two new names, the article presents Neuralink as a bet on brain-computer interfaces becoming a future Human × AI Interface, and Anduril as a company pushing AI into the operational layer of defense. It also notes the risks: Neuralink still faces clinical, safety, regulatory and commercialization hurdles, while Anduril must show that large procurement frameworks can convert into durable revenue and profit growth at a valuation that has climbed sharply in private markets.
