Umia Plans Late-August UMIA Token Auction at $0.12 Starting Price

Umia, an on-chain venture capital layer, has set an end-of-August 2026 date for the UMIA token auction. Priced in USDC with a starting bid of $0.12 per token, the final clearing price will serve as the token's on-chain spot price, and unused funds will be refunded. The project also published its token economics: a 50 million token initial supply, split into 40 million released at launch and a 10 million performance reserve. The public auction portion, 17.3 million tokens or 34.6% of total supply, is the largest single allocation and becomes fully circulating immediately with no lockup. Backers receive 20.3% with a 12-month lockup and gradual vesting. Other allocations cover Uniswap liquidity, protocol treasury, service providers, team and incentives.
