Bubblemaps2026-10-15 04:01:00Bubblemaps says Anglio used five linked wallets to front-run token calls and cash out $130,000Bubblemaps said on Oct. 15 that crypto influencer Anglio, who has about 200,000 followers on X, may have used five undisclosed linked wallets to buy tokens before publicly promoting them and then sell into the resulting price spike. The on-chain analytics platform said it reviewed two weeks of wallet activity and found that, across 534 public token recommendations made by Anglio, 61% of the tokens showed targeted linked buying within 20 seconds before the public post went live. According to the report, the pattern was highly consistent. The five side wallets allegedly bought first on decentralized exchanges, Anglio’s publicly known wallet labeled 2ksQ77 then bought a smaller amount to show visible exposure, and the side wallets began unwinding their positions within an average of four minutes after the post, with the public wallet closing last. Bubblemaps said the wallets’ initial gas and trading funds came from a wallet already publicly tied to Anglio, and that profits were later converted into major assets and sent to the same internal deposit address at a centralized exchange used by Anglio’s main wallet. Bubblemaps said the linked wallets and related fund-flow map have now been added to its tracking panel for public monitoring.180
Aptos2026-10-05 00:17:42Aptos proposal #206 votes on encrypted transactions to curb MEV riskAptos governance proposal #206 is now up for a vote, with the measure seeking to enable ChunkyDKG V1 in full mode alongside an encrypted_transactions feature. The proposed setup would use distributed key generation to support encrypted transactions, keeping transaction contents hidden before they enter consensus ordering. Validators would then work together to decrypt them afterward. The design is intended to reduce front-running and broader miner/maximal extractable value, or MEV, risk. The vote is scheduled to end on Oct. 6. At the time of the update, support was close to 100%, but turnout stood at only 2.69%, still below the 24.8% quorum requirement needed for the proposal to pass.470
BlockBeats2026-09-09 12:14:55Trader spent $36,000 on node bribes and gas to front-run Binance’s Niu Lai listing, but still lost $14,000A trader who moved within one second of Binance’s listing announcement for Niu Lai still ended the trade in the red after paying steep execution costs. According to on-chain analyst Ember, the trader used a private RPC channel to buy immediately after Binance posted the listing notice at 19:30 on Sept. 9. To secure priority, the trader paid 42.4 BNB, worth about $31,000, to validator node BNB48 Club as a bribe, plus another 6.87 BNB, or roughly $5,150, in gas fees. The trader then spent 200 BNB, about $150,000, to buy 1.422 million Niu Lai tokens at around $0.10 each. Within 15 minutes, the entire position was sold at about $0.12, bringing back roughly 172,000 USDT. The trade itself generated an estimated profit of $22,000. Even so, the combined cost of the node payment and gas came to about $36,000, leaving the trader with an actual loss of around $14,000 after expenses. Ember said the trader did secure an early fill, but the token’s subsequent move was not large enough to cover the aggressive front-running costs.1050

Tether2026-08-06 08:58:00Tether Freeze Delay Exploited: 60 Addresses Moved 20.4M USDT Ahead of FreezeFlashRescue co-founder @DarcyAri said on X that Tether's execution of a freeze proposal during a joint investigation was partially undermined when a target address moved funds before the freeze took effect, shrinking the amount that could be frozen. A follow-up review found the case was not isolated. Through Aug. 3, 2026, the team reviewed 2,955 Tether freezing events on Ethereum and TRON and identified 60 addresses that emptied their balances before execution, with net outflows of 20,429,847 USDT. On average, those addresses began transferring 13 minutes 59 seconds after the freeze proposal was submitted and finished most of their moves within 15 minutes 15 seconds. Another 113 addresses shifted partial balances ahead of freezing, involving roughly 35.52 million USDT. Tether's average handling time from proposal submission to enforced freeze was 2 hours 16 minutes 15 seconds, leaving a window between the public proposal and the actual freeze. One address cluster on July 3 moved funds within minutes into a single wallet, then split them. FlashRescue says high-risk addresses may be monitoring the proposal list and using that interval to front-run, causing freezes to fail and weakening sanctions, anti-money-laundering, and law-enforcement cooperation.1930
