Silver rises to $59.583 an ounce as Gate updates gold, FX, volatility and index prices
Gate’s latest market data showed silver climbing to $59.583 per ounce, up 2.24% on the day, while gold rose to $4,100.78 per ounce for a 0.22% daily gain. In crypto-linked volatility gauges, nBVIX, the BTC volatility index, stood at 38.52, up 0.57%, while EVIX, the ETH volatility index, was quoted at 52.08, down 0.8% on the day.
In foreign exchange, USD/CNH slipped 0.04% to 6.76651, while USD/JPY added 0.04% to 163.631. Major equity benchmarks in Europe were mixed: the Euro Stoxx 50 rose 0.95% to 6,262.77, the UK100 fell 0.32% to 10,734.4, and Germany’s DAX40 dropped 0.3% to 25,194.1.
Commodity prices also diverged. WTI crude was down 0.73% at $85.34 a barrel, while Brent crude edged up 0.09% to $88.84 a barrel. Gate said users can trade traditional financial market products on the platform, including precious metals, foreign exchange, global stock CFDs, key indexes and commodities, with the related TradFi functions integrated into both its app and web platform.
